Elopement and micro wedding photography for couples who value presence over performance — and want their day to feel calm, meaningful, and fully theirs.

Say “I do” your own way.

Whether you’re envisioning a quiet ceremony with just the two of you in the mountains…
a forest setting surrounded by towering pines…
or a small, meaningful celebration with the people who matter most…

I help you create a plan that feels clear, realistic, and calm — and then I document it honestly.

You don’t have to piece this together alone.
I guide the logistics so you can stay present.

That’s where I come in.

You’re ready for something different — and that looks like an intentional Colorado elopement.

Colorado Elopement Photographer

Elopements remove some of the pressure of a traditional wedding. But they come with their own questions: weather, permits, access, location scouting, timeline flow, travel logistics.

→ Get clarity on your elopement

As a Colorado elopement photographer, I’ve witnessed firsthand how meaningful it is when couples choose a wedding day that truly reflects who they are. Eloping takes courage, and my role is to help you feel supported, present, and confident throughout the experience.

I photograph your day honestly and naturally, creating images that bring you back to how it felt, not just how it looked.

When I’m not photographing elopements, you’ll usually find me hiking, mountain biking, camping, or spending time with my wife, our two sons, and our wonderfully chaotic dogs.

Hi, I’m Jason.

→ Meet Jason

A relaxed plan that allows space for real moments, genuine connection, and photographs that feel honest.
You get to focus on being present. I’ll help handle the rest.

A day designed to feel natural

"Jason did such a fantastic job on our wedding day. We had a record heat of 117, so pics outside were not pleasant. He was quick and professional and got plenty of shots in the 15 minutes we could all stand to be outside. We decided not to do any videographer, and I am glad we didn't. Looking through the ceremony photos, he captured every facial expression of us and our guests. You can literally feel the emotion through his work. He is very talented, and I highly recommend him for any occasion."

"From our initial meeting with Jason, we knew Your Story was the right fit for us. The communication was excellent from start to finish. Jason and Emily were our photographers for our wedding day. They did a fantastic job keeping us on time, providing light instruction to keep photos natural, and setting up beautiful shots. Nothing felt forced on the day of, and the photos we received reflect that... Overall, they are pros at capturing the "story" of your wedding day! Worth every penny!"

The very best in the business!

"Jason did our engagement and wedding day photos. He and Emily were absolutely incredible. We’re obsessed with how they turned out. They not only got some great shots, but their customer service goes above and beyond. They handled situations for us, taking things off our plates. I cannot speak highly enough of them. If you’re looking for a photographer, stop looking; you've found the best."
