done intentionally.

Elopement photography,

This isn’t about checking boxes.

This isn’t about filling a timeline or following a formula. It’s about creating a day that feels calm, personal, and fully your own.

I work with couples who want to slow down, stay present, and move through their elopement without feeling rushed or staged. The experience matters just as much as the photos, because how the day feels is what you’ll remember long after it’s over.

Count me in!

When we work together, you’re not just hiring someone to take photos, you’re gaining steady guidance throughout the entire elopement experience.

I provide thoughtful planning support, help navigating locations and timelines, and calm logistical guidance so nothing feels rushed or overwhelming. Backup options are always considered, flexibility is built in, and the focus stays on protecting the experience you’re creating.

Whether your day includes time in the mountains, your dog by your side, or something quieter and deeply personal, my role stays the same: to make sure you feel supported, prepared, and fully present. You arrive knowing the details have been handled — and that allows you to soak in the day without worrying about what comes next.

More than just your photographer.

Over a decade of experience • Location & timeline guidance included • No pressure, no upselling

Every couple I work with receives more than photos.

You’ll have guidance where it’s helpful, space where it matters, and a photographer who knows when to step in — and when to disappear. The goal isn’t to manage the day, but to protect how it feels.

Most couples tell me the biggest difference wasn’t just the images themselves, but the sense of calm and presence they felt because of the way the day was documented.

A Quick Note Before Pricing

This option allows the day to unfold naturally, without watching the clock. It’s ideal for couples planning a true adventure elopement or a full-day experience that includes multiple locations and meaningful pauses along the way.

That might include getting ready at your Airbnb, traveling between scenic locations, and ending the day at golden hour, or pairing an adventure elopement with an intimate celebration later on.

Designed for couples who want to focus on the heart of the day without feeling rushed. This is the most balanced option and works well for elopements that include more than one location or activity.
It offers flexibility while still keeping the day relaxed and intentional.

A simple, focused option for couples planning a shorter elopement. This works well for a first look, ceremony, portraits, and light exploring around one primary location.

Best suited for couples who want a beautiful, meaningful experience without additional activities or extended travel on the day.

"Jason was great to work with and I could not recommend him enough. We originally planned to have our wedding in Florida with 50 people and that changed to being in Colorado with 150+ people. Jason was up for the change and totally accommodating!

He also was a total trooper going up some questionable forest roads to do our engagement photos. He was super laid back, quick to respond, and the pictures were AMAZING! If you're looking for someone that will be professional, easy to work with and not add stress to your day, BOOK HIM NOW!!!"

"I found Jason when I was looking for photographers happy to shoot smaller weddings. It was a tiny wedding with only immediate family. This gave us even more time for a couple of photos, and now we have many beautiful shots in different environments.

Jason was excellent and easy to work with. Our pictures came back so fast, and they look fantastic. I highly recommend Jason for your wedding, big or small!"

"We are so unbelievably happy with our wedding and engagement photos. Jason is amazing and so talented. He suggested doing an engagement session (free with our package) to get to know each other and he was absolutely right to suggest it! It took out the nerves and the stress of photos on the big day.

Jason is a joy to work with, and he thinks about every single detail. We felt like we were really taken care of, and I knew this was one part of the day that we didn't need to stress over. Our photos look absolutely incredible. I cannot recommend him enough!!"

If you’re looking for someone who values presence over performance, and experience over production, we’ll likely be a good fit.

This isn’t a commitment, just a starting point. You don’t need to have all the details figured out yet. Share what you know, and we’ll take it from there.

I take on a limited number of elopements each month to keep this level of support.

If your date matters, it’s worth checking availability now.

That's one of the most common reasons couples reach out.

During the planning process, I'll help narrow down locations based on the experience you want—not just what's popular.

A:

What if we don't know where to elope?

q:

The earlier we start, the more options you'll have for locations, permits, accommodations, and seasonal timing. Most couples reach out 6–12 months before their elopement, but if your date is closer, don't hesitate to ask.

A:

How far in advance should we book?

q:

Absolutely.

In fact, most couples contact me before they've chosen a location, finalized a date, or figured out the logistics. The earlier we start planning, the more flexibility you'll have, and the less you'll have to figure out on your own.

A:

We don't have everything figured out yet. Should we still reach out?

Questions

Colorado weather likes to keep us on our toes, which is why every elopement includes thoughtful backup planning. Whether that means adjusting the timeline, choosing a nearby alternate location, or simply embracing a little rain or snow, we'll have a plan in place so you can stay focused on each other instead of the forecast.

A:

What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?

q:

My wife Gloria does a limited amount of weddings per year, providing couples with 5-7 minute highlight reals and ceremony recordings.

A:

Do you offer videography?

q:

No pressure. No obligation.

Check availability

Absolutely. Eloping doesn't have to mean hiking miles into the mountains. Some couples want an easy walk to a scenic overlook, while others choose a cozy cabin, a lakeside ceremony, or a beautiful location that's just steps from the parking area. Your day should fit your comfort level—not someone else's idea of adventure.

A:

We're not big hikers or "outdoorsy" people. Is an elopement still right for us?

q:

Of course. Some couples choose to elope with just the two of them, while others invite a handful of their closest family and friends, or bring their four-legged best friend along. We'll build a day that reflects what's most meaningful to you while keeping the experience intentional and relaxed.

A:

Can we include family or our dog in our elopement?

q:

As involved as you need me to be. Beyond photographing your day, I'll help with location recommendations, permits, timelines, vendor suggestions, seasonal guidance, and backup planning. My goal is to make the planning process feel clear and manageable so you can enjoy the journey, not just the wedding day.

A:

How involved are you during the planning process?

q:

That's exactly the kind of conversation I love having. You don't need to commit to anything just because you reach out. If you're weighing your options, asking questions, or trying to figure out what kind of wedding feels right, I'm happy to help you think it through. Even if we decide we're not the right fit, my goal is for you to walk away feeling more confident about your decision.

A:

What if we're still deciding whether an elopement is right for us?

q:

Start with what you know

Most couples reach out before they know exactly where they'll elope and that's completely normal. Share what you can, and I’ll take it from there.
